Why we exist
We are different, and we are looking for more people who are different too. Our mission is to defend European values by protecting and strengthening the Mittelstand, Europe's mid-sized companies. We share the vision of creating impact by enabling as many organisations as possible to build real resilience. Everyone at int[cube] shares in our success.
Our priorities, in this order
- Economic Survival: Rent and salaries have to be paid.
- Joy of working together: The joy of working together keeps us together in the long run.
- Doing good: We founded the company to do as much good as possible, because "don't be evil" is simply not enough.
- Profit: We are glad about profit, and we do not put everything below it.
Cohorts instead of a pyramid
We work in cohorts: several organisations implement the same security topic at the same time, guided by us. On top come cyber due diligence for private equity investors and product security under the Cyber Resilience Act. The best results come from small, networked teams, not from pyramids where partners sell and juniors deliver. We wrote this down in the Unconsultancy Manifesto.
Self-organisation
After three years of very flat hierarchies, we have now set out towards self-organisation. The "reporting line" is only formal: we organise ourselves along management and specialist roles, with a lot of ownership and willingness to experiment, always looking for what fits even better.
"Regardless of what we discover, we understand and truly believe that everyone did the best job they could, given what they knew at the time, their skills and abilities, the resources available, and the situation at hand."
– Norm Kerth, Retrospective Prime Directive
What we expect
We have high expectations, precisely because we want to move the needle: ownership, curiosity, humour, and the willingness to learn, teach and grow. We are a thrilling startup trying out innovative things in a complex and dynamic world, and we are looking for people who help us gain speed and impact.
