Hours: part-time (4+ days) or full-time
Experience: Midlevel or senior, at least 3-5 years of professional experience
Salary: 75,000/90,000 EUR gross per year (bands Senior Expert and Advisor, see salary structure), plus a share in the profit

Your tasks

• Cloud and platform security: you assess and harden cloud environments, container platforms and CI/CD pipelines, vendor-neutral and closer to the code than to the licence model.
• Attack surface: together with our clients you build attack surface management that works, from asset discovery and scans to the triage of results.
• Technical due diligence: for private equity mandates you look at the technology of target companies and say clearly where the risks are.
• Project ownership: you run your client projects on your own from planning to completion and are the main contact.
• Knowledge transfer: you bring your knowledge into our cohorts, where several companies implement concrete improvements together.

What you bring

Don't hesitate if you don't meet every requirement or aren't sure the job is right for you. Your personality and motivation matter most.

• Depth in at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) and in Linux, container and open source stacks
• You read code and configuration and derive concrete, prioritised risks from it
• Experience planning, steering and completing client projects on your own
• Business-fluent German, English at least C1

Nice to have

• Offensive security as a second skill, such as pentesting or thinking in attack paths
• Experience with IaC and DevSecOps tooling (Terraform, Kubernetes, pipeline security)
• Contributions to open source projects
• Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as NIS2, DORA or ISO 27001
